The role of FEO will be to form a Europe wide network across the 27 member states linking commercial, academic and Government institutions. The FEO will then take specific initiatives and develop EC wide projects.
This will:
- Optimally utilise the skills of all members of the 27 member states
- Avoid duplication across the EC
- Take advantage of economies of scale where possible
- Share research and development
- Act as a focal point in specific ‘Interest Groups'
- Foster innovation and entrepreneurs
- Achieve all of the above with an underlying objective throughout of ‘carbon neutral‘ sustainable development
